Band of the Week – Basement League

“I’m doing better now. How’s this for closure?” screams vocalist Cameron Percival as the high energy chorus of Basement League’s debut single ‘Juniper’ draws to a close.

Influenced by the likes of Neck Deep, The Story So Far and Knuckle Puck, Basement League come out of the gate swinging with a mix of big riffs, big energy, and raw emotional vocals.

A four-piece pop-punk/alternative band based in London, the band formed as a rebranding of a past project, founding members James Warner (bass) and Nathan Coote (drums). After a couple of years, a few lineup changes and 40+ shows up and down the country, the boys decided to take everything they’d learned and start fresh. Basement League was born. Their debut single ‘Juniper’ was released on March 5th, and have since released another single ‘Youth of Today’.
