Coming out of the New Jersey scene, The Red Room existed as “Frenular Delta” back in 2017-2018, until conflict of interest broke up the group.
In January of 2019, Dylan McLarnon (Lead vocals / Guitar) and Dustin Sebes (Bass) got together to hash out some songs that Dylan had kept to himself. The influences ranged from Helmet to The Jesus Lizard to Monster Magnet to Stone Temple Pilots to Nirvana.
Jack Santoro (Lead Guitar / Vocals) and Brian Wolinski (Drums) joined in, and The Red Room exists as a heavy psychedelic grungy outfit to this day. The Red Room strives to create a rock and roll experience that is lacking in today’s musical climate. Dylan’s lyrics are inspired by free expression.
Our review of their album ‘Mind Razor’ reads “It is rare for a band that have so recently formed together to have a sound as cohesive and bold as their own”.
