Small Talk. is an emo rock band from San Diego, California formed in 2013 by guitarist Victor Andrade. The band really started gaining momentum when vocalist Nestle Noah Frederick joined the band in 2018. In 2019, drummer Elliot Cole completed the three-piece and together they all recorded their debut ep, “drowning in your absence.” which came out in February 2020.
Since then, Small Talk. has released singles including the most recent “Hawthorne”, (Read our review on the single) which also has a music video that premiered on Ghost Killer Entertainment’s YouTube channel. Small Talk. is planning to release something special this fall 2020 and is also busy writing and recording their debut album due in 2021. Keep a close look on these sad boys from California as they are sure to make a big splash in the emo scene.
