Review – Heart Attax (Strange Times)

Heart Attax – Strange Times (Single Review)

Ingolstadt, Germany based pop/punk quartet Heart Attax have released an extravagant new single “Strange Times”. A rhythmic giant of a song, sure to fire up the socially distant mosh pit. Combining various elements of pop/punk and emo, with extremely relevant lyrics to the ‘Strange times’ we are currently living in. The song opens with a prayer before driving directly through its 3 minute run time.

How Heart Attax have spent this long beneath the radar is a mystery to me, showcasing a mature sound with plenty of layers. The mash up of different flavours creates a wholly unique listening experience. The colossal vocal sound mixed with the driving bass and drums with a sprinkling of superb guitar work makes for a magnificent sounding band.

Heart Attax have clearly done their homework and their goal of bringing back the good ole’ days may be nearer than they think. “Strange Times” is out now, promise yourself a listen, if you blink you might just miss it.
