Shark Bait (Hoo Ha Ha) have released a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s 1983 classic “Girl’s Just Want To Have Fun”!
Shark Bait are a 5 piece Pop Punk band from South Yorkshire made up of 5 buddies who smoke weed, drink Rum and eat Pizza. They mix heavy riffs, upbeat hooks, fast tempos and catchy vocal melodies to create Pop Punk with a bite.
Influences stem back decades to the golden age of early 2000’s Pop Punk like New Found Glory, Sum 41, Less Than Jake and Hit the Lights just to name a few, but that’s not to say they’re stuck in the times, next generation bands such as The Wonder Years, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, The Story So Far, Neck Deep and PUP are just a couple of many that play a massive part in SB’s writing style and influence.
Shark Bait recently had the great opportunity and pleasure of working with the fantastic Seb Barlow of Neck Deep to record a fresh cover of an 80’s classic everybody knows and loves, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ released today, followed by a music video they recently filmed with the always great Zero Visuals.
Shark Bait have big plans for 2021, and have no intention of slowing down.
